I’m a self-taught oil painter based on the south-east coast of Norway, close to the coastal town of Soon.
I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until 2005 that I began painting seriously, choosing oil as my preferred medium.
I am an autodidact artist, meaning I have taught myself everything I know about painting. Because of this, I have sometimes found it challenging to be acknowledged within the art community. Still, I am deeply committed to my journey and continue to grow, one painting at a time.
I’m not yet in a position where I can live fully from my art — becoming an artist is a long and often slow process — but it is a path I truly believe in.
Alongside my own work, I also teach beginners how to paint. My focus is on keeping things simple, building confidence, and helping others enjoy the process without feeling overwhelmed.
